ブラック・サバス(Black Sabbath)の主要メンバーとして1970年のデビュー以来多くの名演を残しているTony Iommiの、大幅に改造した1964年製のギブソンSG "モンキー"をモチーフにしたシグネチャー・モデル。マホガニー・ボディ、ラウンド・プロファイルのバウンド・マホガニー・ネック、22フレットのインディアン・ローズウッド指板、Graph Tech(R)ナット、モダンスタイルのGrover Rotomaticチューナー、クロムカバーP-90ピックアップを搭載しています。
稀代のへヴィ・リフメーカーであるトニー・アイオミ、多くのリスナーを虜にしたシグネチャー・トーンが魅力の一本です。
Monkey stickerは一旦貼られた後剥がしています。使用感(ヘッドにクリップチューナー痕、ブリッジ下部にMonkey sticker剥がし痕、スレや弾きスジ、スクラッチ痕、ピッキング痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・ビッツ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。
入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・すり合わせ)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。

Gibson USA Tony Iommi SG Special (for right), made in 2021.
This signature model is based on a heavily modified 1964 Gibson SG "Monkey" by Tony Iommi, a key member of Black Sabbath who has left many great performances since his debut in 1970. It features a mahogany body, round-profile bound mahogany neck, 22-fret Indian rosewood fingerboard, Graph Tech(R) nut, modern-style Grover Rotomatic tuners, and chrome-covered P-90 pickups.
Tony Iommi, a rare heavy riff maker, and his signature tone that has captivated many listeners.
Monkey sticker has been peeled off after being applied once. It shows signs of use (clip tuner marks on the head, Monkey sticker removal marks on the bottom of the bridge, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, fogging and bits on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damages).
The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and rubbing) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough to play well. The truss rod can be tightened or loosened up to ±60°.
