Like the flagship Epiphone Casino, this Epiphone DOT semi-hollow model features a slim, thinline body and the center block familiar from the Gibson ES-335.

It features a laminated maple top, sides, and back; a maple neck; a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays; and Alnico Classic pickups. It is equipped with 2 volume and 2 tone controls (no coil tap), Grover tuners, and a truss rod cover bearing the "Dot" logo.

As a model from Epiphone—a brand directly descended from Gibson—that follows the classic semi-hollow ES-335 style, it is ideal for players switching from solid-body guitars or as a second guitar for intermediate players.

Signs of use are visible (including minor scratches, scuffs, wear marks, playing lines, picking marks, and cosmetic damage such as tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws).

Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening); it has been tested to operate within ±60° and is in good working order.
