USED Fender Japan / ST57-53 BLK (Black) [3.48 kg / Manufactured 1993–1994]

This is a Fender Japan Stratocaster ST57-53 from 1993–1994 (manufactured by Fujigen).

A Japanese-made model that follows the classic 50s style. It features a basswood body, a one-piece maple neck (Neck Date: 92-12.1), vintage-style frets, and ST-Vintage pickups.

This Fender Japan model, manufactured by Fujigen and popular overseas, is a 1957-style model that many are seeking.

The tremolo arm is missing, and there are signs of wear (including minor scratches, scuffs, scuffs from wiping, picking marks, buckle marks, peeling paint on the fretboard edges, string marks on the fretboard surface, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The originally narrow fret tops have been filed down to a lower profile but remain at a height suitable for playing. The truss rod has been tested to move 60 degrees in both directions and is in good working order.
