USED Epiphone / Limited Edition 1959 ES-335 Dot Cherry 2ND [3.47 kg / Manufactured in 2009]

A limited edition model equipped with Gibson USA “Burstbuckers 2 & 3” pickups.

This is an Epiphone Limited Edition 1959 ES-335 2ND, manufactured in 2009. It was sold as a 2ND outlet model at the time of its release and features a layered maple top, sides, and back; a mahogany neck; a laurel fingerboard with dot inlays; Gibson Burstbuckers 2 & 3 pickups; and a long pickguard in the ’59 style.

Although the exact reason it was classified as a “2ND” model at the time of release remains unclear, it features the versatile Burstbucker pickups and is known for its lustrous tone.

The strap pins have been replaced, and there are signs of wear (including peeling paint on the headstock near the 2nd and 3rd string tuners, scuffs, wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks, and cosmetic damage such as tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been tested to 60 degrees on both sides and is in good working order.
