This is an Epiphone Nick Valenci Riviera P94, manufactured in 2012 (2nd edition).

This is the signature model of Nick Valensi, known as the guitarist for The Strokes. It features a P-94 pickup, a maple hollow-body construction with a mahogany neck, a Frequency-Setter tailpiece, Grover tuners, and a truss rod cover engraved with “Valensi.”

Nick Valensi, known for a playing style that contrasts with that of Albert Hammond Jr., is the only artist to have a hollow-body guitar equipped with a P-94 pickup.

The specific reason for its “2ND” grade at the time of new sale cannot be determined. Signs of use are visible (minor scratches and scuffs, scuffs around the headstock, wear and wipe marks, picking marks, tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts, etc.).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod has been verified to function properly within a range of 60 degrees to either side.
