The ergonomically designed EHB body is perfectly balanced for both standing and seated players.
The horns are shaped to balance the body and neck for easy holding when playing standing, and the body curve on the treble string side was designed with particular emphasis on fit and balance when playing seated.
The body surface is contoured to provide a sloping surface where the elbow touches the body.
The body edges that come into contact with the body are all smooth and rounded.
The back of the body is boldly cut to become thinner toward the bass strings.
This is designed to enhance the fit when playing while seated and to allow for the angle of the eye when looking at the fingerboard inlays.
In addition, the back of the horn on the treble string side is cut in a scooped shape to facilitate access to the high frets.
Chambering for a more sensuous feel of the body's sound
The player will be more aware of the sound he or she is making by experiencing the vibrations inside the body as they are in a hollow body.
This also leads to a slight weight reduction.
Vari Mid 3 Band EQ w/EQ bypass switch
As the abbreviation of "Variable frequency control for Mid EQ" suggests, this EQ offers more flexibility in mid control.
Normally, a 3-band EQ would be divided into three bands (HIGH/MID/LOW), and the developer would arbitrarily set the focus of the frequency range and control the boost or cut. The Vari Mid allows the user to arbitrarily set the focus of the midrange.
For example, the Mid can be set to 100Hz, which is roughly in the bass register, and boosted to compensate for the lack of bass.
