Description.
All maple shell with a unique edge shape, this signature snare drum is based on the vintage Gretsch sound, arranged with Mel Taylor's taste. Features a comfortable rim shot and short sustain with a tight nudge. The one Mel used was not a prototype of any kind, but rather the exact same specs as the commercial product, so one of the reasons for its popularity is that it has the same sound as the commercial product. Because of its ease of use, it is favored not only by Ventures fans but also by a wide range of people.
The entire hoop is scratched from use, but there are no sound problems.

オールメイプルシェルに独特のエッジシェイプを施し、ビンテージグレッチのサウンドを基にメルテイラーのテイストでアレンジしたシグネイチャー スネアドラム。リムショットの心地良さとショートサスティーンでタイトなヌケが特徴。メルが使用していた物もプロトタイプの類ではなく、市販品と全く同じスペックのため、そのままのサウンドが得られるのも人気要因の一つと言えるでしょう。その使い勝手の良さから、ベンチャーズファンばかりでなく幅広い層に支持されています。
フープ全体に使用傷が発生しておりますが、サウンドに問題ございません。
