USED Fender / Eric Clapton Stratocaster Black 2003 [10]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a Fender USA Artist Model 2003 Eric Clapton Stratocaster.
It is black in color and has the E.C. "BLACKIE" (blackie) logo.
The serial number indicates that it was manufactured around 2003, so it is 22 years old. There are no problems with the TBX control or the active mid booster in the control assembly, and we have confirmed that it is in good working order.
The pickguard, control knobs, and tremolo backplate are white, but the color has changed to cream. However, the backside of each part is still white and white color, so we can consider the aging as a factor.
According to our staff who sold new pickups in the 2000s, this is a trend that can be seen on some of the white ST pickguards on vintage style STs made in the USA and Mexico that were manufactured in the 2000s. When sold new, these guitars were white in color with vintage specs, but after a few years, the color tended to yellow, probably due to the storage conditions and environment of the guitars.
This one is a cream color with a whitish tint, so it has a cool, not unnatural and austere aged look.

Main general condition
There are no noticeable scratches or dents, but since the body color is black, there are scratches all over the body. However, most of the scratches seem to have been polished by caretakers. There are also a few minor scratches of less than 3 mm, but they are countable and can be forgiven considering the age of the instrument. (There are no noticeable scratches on the neck grip or headstock area, and they are beautiful.)
There are some signs of oxidation and deterioration on the metal parts, but considering the nature of the EC Strat, we feel that the deterioration is appropriate.
The satin urethane neck finish has no blackening from playing and has a nice clean look, so it may have been stored in a hard case almost unplayed. (The hard case included is for a Fender USA Brown Tolex Hardshell Case ST/TL)

Neck condition is fine as it is now.
There is enough room for truss rod.
Almost no fret loss
