USED Gibson Custom / M2M 1968 Les Paul Custom 5AQ Nordic Blue w/TV-White Back Gloss GH [10]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a very rare item made under the Gibson Custom Made to Measure (M2M) program, which is a slightly different category of the Gibson Custom Shop, in clean and beautiful condition.
This is a special custom-ordered model for dealers in Japan who deal in Gibson Custom products, and was realized during the Gibson Japan Summit in 2023.
The model is based on the "Gibson Custom 1968 LPC", but the materials and details are custom-ordered, so the specs are very high and special.
The model is named "Gibson Custom, Made to Measure, 1968 Les Paul Custom 5A-Quilt top, Nordic Blue Top w/TV-White Back Gloss, Gold-Hardware."
The M2M program model is not a ready-made item like a standard item, but a special process from specification selection to completion, including the arrangement and careful selection of materials and the manufacturing method of each production process. Therefore, it is inevitable that the timeline for completion and shipment is long.
As part of the M2M product specs that I would like to mention, is the use of a brownish wood filler as a filler for the mahogany material? The conduit structure, which is a dark brown color like black inside the TV White color, may accentuate the wood grain.

Exterior Condition
The date on the prepackaged checklist is 8/14/24, so it is in clean, beautiful condition made in recent years. (Control assemblies are soldered virgin and others are in full original condition.)
There are a few minor scratches, but there are no signs of abuse or rough handling.
There are also the inevitable pick scratch marks on the neck PU ring and certain areas of the pickguard, but they are gentle and not noticeable.

Holly wood head veneer, 14-degree head angle, ebony fingerboard, nylon nut, hand-selected 5A quilted maple body top and lightweight mahogany back wood, tortoise pattern fingerboard side dots, lightweight warp-around bar bridge, HDW detailing ( Gold gloss, but only the jack plate mounting screws are VOS spec)

Neck condition is presently fine.
Truss rod has room to spare
