We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 2005 McCarty Hollowbody I.
This is a special order spec of adjustable stoptail bridge with piezo transducer system developed by PRS & L.R.Baggs in cooperation.
The piezo system here is a patented invention and is a compact unit with great functional beauty. (U.S. PAT#6,111,186)
This system can also control not only the output of the magnetic pickup (humbucker), but also the mixed output with the piezo or the three outputs of the piezo alone.

Blender control for the magnetic and piezo pickups (piezo PU only volume when connected to the piezo output only)
Mini 3-way switch selects between magnetic PU, mix of magnetic PU and piezo, or piezo.
The two output jacks can be used for either piezo only or both piezo and magnetic PUs.

In addition, the two outputs can be used simultaneously, so you can connect each to a channel of two channel amps (such as JC) separately, or connect each to two amps and use the mini 3-way switch on the guitar side to switch between them. You may be impressed with the way it stimulates your ideas and senses.

Overall Condition
The overall condition of this guitar tends to show some age-related paint cloudiness, but the rich vintage natural color is in the process of gradually becoming a creamy, gentle overall appearance.
A few small bruises and scratches can be seen on the body top and back, but it is a clean and beautiful piece.
Also, there are some signs of deterioration of the metal parts and plating, but this may be alleviated with care after playing.

Neck condition is currently fine.
There is enough room for a truss rod (PRS double action truss rod).
About 90% of frets remaining.
String height on the 12th fret: 6th string side: approx. 1.7mm, 1st string side: approx. 1.5mm
