The 2020 Custom Shop J-45 Limited Edition VOS is now in stock.
The orange label peeking through the soundhole has "Limited Edition" clearly printed on it. There is also a decal on the back of the headstock indicating that it was made by the Custom Shop.
The top of the body is made of red spruce (adelondack spruce), and the traditional X bracing has been hand-worked into a scalloped shape.
It also features an acoustic guitar mic consisting of L.R. Baggs' "Tru-Mic" and "Lyric" preamps. It's a microphone system that pursues the airy feeling you get from microphone recording, and it tends to collect acoustic reality.

Overall Condition
The entire body of the guitar has a VOS finish, which expresses a faded vintage look with a scratch finish and other features.
The body is dotted with gentle dents and picking scratch marks, which may blend beautifully with the VOS finish.
There are also traces of capotast and minor striking scratches on the neck grip, but they do not interfere with the gripping feel and may feel insignificant when held. (There is an additional strap button on the neck heel.)
Also, the hard case that comes with the guitar is a 2023 Gibson Custom Logo Print Black, so it may not be a genuine accessory.
