The new "TAS3 C", the second generation of the "Trans-Acoustic Guitar

The "Trans-Acoustic Guitar" is a guitar that allows you to experience the rich sound of a live house performance with just the guitar itself, without the use of amplifiers, effectors, or other peripheral equipment.

The "TAS3 C" to be released this time is a concert-style guitar that is a new addition to the 2nd generation models with evolved conventional functions. It is equipped with two actuators that have been improved from the first generation to achieve high-quality effect sounds and a "looper" function. Three types of effects are available: "reverb," "chorus," and "delay. The "looper" function allows players to record and loop their performances on the guitar itself, allowing them to play while layering phrases to stimulate their creativity. In addition, the dedicated "TAG Remote" application can be used to adjust the sound quality of the effects. In addition, the TAG Remote is equipped with Bluetooth functionality, allowing audio playback from the unit when connected to a smart device.

The guitar's structure converts string vibrations into electrical signals, processes the effects, and transmits them to an "actuator" (shaker) installed inside the body, which vibrates the entire guitar.

The actuator then vibrates the entire guitar. This allows the guitar itself to vibrate to produce the effect sound without the need for an amplifier or speakers. Like the "TAG3 C," the "TAS3 C" is equipped with three types of effects: chorus, reverb, and delay, allowing users to enjoy the detailed, high-quality sound produced by the body via the two actuators. The dedicated "TAG Remote" application allows users to switch between the different types of effects and adjust detailed parameters, allowing them to find the sound best suited to their playing style.

The body of the "TAS3 C" is slightly smaller in size than the "TAG3 C," but is concert-style for powerful strokes, with A.R.E. treated Sitka spruce (solid) on the front and mahogany (solid) on the side and backboards.

A cutaway is adopted to enhance playability in the high position. It also features a stylish design with hardware unified in champagne gold and beautiful inlays around the perimeter of the soundhole. In addition, "TAS3 C" has a built-in lithium-ion battery that can be recharged with a magnetic tap to allow for higher volume and longer playing time (up to 5.5 hours). The main unit also has a tuner function, so it can be picked up and played immediately without the need for a separate tuner. It can also be used as an electric acoustic guitar by connecting it to an amplifier, making it useful on the live stage.
