A Gibson Les Paul Custom, synonymous with the long-time favorite rock guitar.
Serial number 003228; the pickups are estimated to have been manufactured around 2010.
The 1968 Les Paul Custom is a popular reissue model that recreates the specs of the year Les Paul was reintroduced to the lineup. It features the traditional mahogany back and maple top configuration, set neck joint, ebony fingerboard, and gold parts. The "Black Beauty" look and the full, rich sound are the main attractions of this model.
The 57 Classic pickups are based on vintage PAF pickups and have a full midrange, smooth highs, and just the right amount of compression. From a clear and crisp tone to a thick and persistent sound at drive, the Les Paul Custom's presence is on full display. The thick sustain characteristic of mahogany blends perfectly with the clarity of the maple top, and responds well to picking nuances with a high degree of perfection.
The VOS finish reproduces a natural aged feel from new. The texture of the finish, which is not overly glossy, gives a subdued impression, and the more you use it, the more it will grow on you.
This guitar combines the craftsmanship for which Gibson Custom is known with the solid, core tone unique to the '68 model. The Les Paul Custom sound is a combination of classic looks and modern playability, and is a true classic.

Scattered dings and scratches not originating from VOS. There are multiple play marks and dings on the body and edges, and the hardware also shows wear and peeling of the plating.
The neck is in good playing condition with no noticeable abnormalities.
