Heartfield" was a cooperative brand by Fender and Fujigen that was developed in the 1980s and 1990s.
Although produced only for a short period of time, the brand is still highly regarded today for its high crafting precision and uniqueness, which was typical of Japanese-made basses of the time.

This model "DR-5C" is based on the 5-string, 24-fret DR-5, and features a through-neck construction, gold hardware, and laminated finish.

This is one of the few DR-5C models in circulation today, and is recommended for those who are looking for a 5-string bass that is hard to find, or for those who are attracted to rare Japanese-made models.
There are minor scratches, dents, and scuffs commensurate with its age.
There are some age-related deterioration such as rust and tarnish on metal parts.
There are paint cracks on the side of the body and paint chips on the tip of the head.
There is no noticeable abnormality on the neck, and there are no problems with the playing condition.
