The BB2000 is the premium model of the Broad Bass "BB" lineup, which has been a Yamaha original bass since the 1970s.
It features a 5-piece maple/mahogany neck-through construction with an ebony fingerboard, while the body wings are crafted from alder.
It is equipped with original pickups in a PJ layout, with the rear bar pole piece pickup developed specifically for the BB2000.
It offers an exceptionally wide range of sound shaping capabilities, capable of not only anchoring a band's low end but also handling any bass technique, including commanding solos and slap bass.
The 4th string peg has some play. There is a chip on the headstock. There are paint chips on the headstock and body top. There is paint chipping on the body back. The back panel shows signs of deterioration. Additionally, there are scratches, dents, and metal rust overall, indicating significant wear from use.
The neck shows no noticeable issues and is in playable condition. The truss rod may be starting to loosen. No issues with current setup.
