From Epiphone, a guitar faithfully recreated from a 1958 Explorer under the supervision of the Gibson Custom Shop.
Featuring a solid Corina body and Corina neck, it delivers the light, responsive feel and rich tone characteristic of the original 1958 Explorer. In addition to Gibson USA Burstbucker 2 and 3 pickups, the electronics—including CTS pots, Mallory capacitors, and Switchcraft switches and jacks—have been meticulously selected to combine a vintage-like sound with exceptional playability.Its appeal also lies in the attention to detail, with features like the long neck tenon construction and ABR-1-style bridge, all designed to reflect the 1958 specifications.

This model features an “Aged Natural” finish with a white pickguard. Combined with the beautiful grain unique to Corina wood, it exudes a presence reminiscent of the original Explorer.
