To celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut in 2013, Gibson Acoustics released the first Japanese signature model. The neck shape was designed based on the '34 L-00 and '47 J-50, while following the '68 J-45 Adj. EB owned by the owner. The neck shape was designed with reference to the '34 L-00 and the '47 J-50, while a variable bridge is usually used for this model. The sound emitted from the extra thick neck is a true roar, with a bass range that resonates through the body, and the fixed bridge gives it a very nice extended high range. The 2013 first year model is by far the most popular, and is a rare model that is hard to find on the market! If you missed the chance to buy one, now is your chance!
The body has some minor scratches and there are some dents on the back and the back of the neck. The black body makes it a little easy to notice, but there are no noticeable dents on the top of the body, and considering that this model has been in production for more than 10 years, we think that they are minimal. The scratches on this model are rather cool, so we hope you will continue to play it as much as you can.
