USED MOON / JB-4C Ocean Turquoise [12]

MOON's classic style JB is now in stock.
This JB model by MOON, a long-established Japanese component guitar/bass maker, is based on the 60s style with a 2-piece alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard.

As indicated by the head logo, the guitar was manufactured and assembled at PGM, one of the leading guitar workshops in Japan, and is finished with great care, down to the smallest details.

The year of manufacture is unknown, but the jack plate is stamped 27576, and 002 010506 moon is handwritten on the neck pocket/neck end.
The pickup covers and bridge pegs have the moon logo, so it seems to be an older spec than the current model.

The sound is passive, but balanced and crisp, thanks to the elaborate handmade construction and the original pickups.
There is a paint chip on the tip of the head, and there are large paint peels around the elbow contour of the body and on the side of the body by the control plate.
There are many scratches on the pickguard, and minor scuffs and dings are scattered throughout the body.
Although the pickguard has some signs of use, it has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playability condition.
