Steinberger's unique form, construction, features, and sound quickly attracted the attention of the music and instrument industries and has been used by musicians all over the world since its introduction in 1980.

The XL2A in this shipment is an active version of the XL2 released in 1984, and based on the serial number and EMG pickup date, we have determined that it was made in 1990.

The body and neck are molded in one piece with Steinberger blend reinforced synthetic resin, and the materials used include a phenolic fingerboard, the innovative EMG pickups with a built-in preamp for noiselessness, and the very bold design features such as the headless and compact body. It is a futuristic instrument with a high degree of perfection that can be used not only at the time of its release, but also today.

The attack is strong and hard, but the unique sound with deep resonance can be used in a wide range of genres.
There are some minor scratches and dents scattered throughout, some of the hardware plating is peeling, and the EMG logo on the front pickup is slightly faded.
The neck is a little high, but there is no sound jamming or fretting.
There is a buzzing noise in the tone, but we have left it as it is because there are no replacement parts and we value the originality of the instrument.
The guitar has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playability condition.
