This 2000 Cherry Red 1959 Les Paul is believed to be a custom model ordered by a distributor at the time.

It inherits the specifications of the 40th Anniversary model, which was released the previous year after undergoing significant refinements and remains highly popular to this day. In particular, this guitar boasts the distinctive look of that era—featuring a thin finish achieved with the Old-Style Nitrocellulose Sunfinish, which was only available for a brief period—and a superbly figured top that makes it an irresistible instrument.

Equipped with 57 Classic pickups, it weighs a lightweight 3.90 kg and is well-balanced, delivering everything from crisp clean tones to a gritty, driving sound.
The finish on the body back and neck has faded, and there are fine scratches, small dents, and some tarnish on the metal parts throughout. The frets have over 70% of their original material remaining, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is fully adjustable.
