USED Gibson Custom Shop / Historic Collection 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue 2005 Iced Tea [12]

We now have in stock a 2005 1958 Les Paul with a plain maple top!
Plain maple tops were the standard for 1958 Les Pauls of this era, as opposed to 1959 Les Pauls with figured maple tops.
It has a thicker neck grip than the 2010s model, a wired ABR-1 bridge, and Burstbucker 1 & 2 pickups.
Although it is heavy at 4.34 kg, it has a sound characterized by a tight bass and clear treble, and even when distorted hard, it has a pleasant edgy drive sound without collapsing the core.

There are dents and paint chips on the tip of the head, and dents on both sides of the base of the head.
There is a buckle scratch on the back of the body, and there are fine dots of scratches on the toggle switch cavity plate.
There are some minor scratches and dents scattered throughout the body, and the paint has faded on some parts of the neck and the metal parts are dull.
There is a crack inside the control knob, but it does not affect its use.
The strap pin has been replaced with a Gibson type because it was a lock pin.
The guitar has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playability condition.
