J.W. Black has been active as a master builder at Fender Custom Shop since the late 1980s.
This Japanese model, made in a workshop in Japan, has an ash body and maple fingerboard, and is decorated with gorgeous gold parts, giving it an elegant look.
The speedy attack of the ash body and the bite when driven are unique to this model.

* After our arrival, it has been cleaned, string replaced, rod adjusted, octave adjusted, string height adjusted, and rubbed together, so it is in good playing condition.

There are some spots on the gold parts.
There is a small paint chip at the neck joint and a small ding on the body with a paint dent.
There are other minor scratches, small dents, and other signs of use.
