・Wizard 5-piece Maple/Wenge neck
This neck is constructed from a 5-piece combination of maple and wenge (both solid wood), designed to prioritize a natural sound while ensuring sufficient strength. Based on the ultra-thin Super Wizard shape—ideal for players who prefer a lightweight feel—it has been modified specifically for 7-string use. The neck back features a “Velvetouch” finish that molds to your hand like a guitar that’s been played for years.
・Macassar Ebony Fretboard
This special fretboard is crafted from Macassar ebony—a wood known for its hardness, excellent responsiveness, and distinctive vertical grain—and features the “Tree of Life” position inlays, one of the hallmarks of j.custom design.
・Flamed Maple top (4mm) / African Mahogany body
An AAA-grade Flamed Maple top with beautiful grain is laminated onto an African Mahogany body, which delivers rich mid-to-low frequency characteristics.
・All Access Neck Joint
The connection between the neck heel and the body is shaped to be as smooth as possible. This is a j.custom-exclusive design that pursues ultimate playability in the higher frets.
・DiMarzio PAF 7 Pickups
Equipped with pickups based on DiMarzio’s classic PAF design, adapted specifically for a 7-string guitar. They feature a clear, low-power sound reminiscent of a classic humbucker.
・Lo-Pro Edge 7 Tremolo Bridge
Features an original tremolo bridge that takes low-profile design to the extreme. The unit is designed to sit as low as possible, reducing the risk of your hand bumping into it and causing the instrument to go out of tune while playing.
・Gotoh Hardware
Equipped with highly reliable Gotoh machine heads and a Gotoh strap lock pin.
