Based on the concept of “a guitar crafted from carefully selected materials by Japan’s most skilled artisans, constantly pursuing exceptional playability and superior sound,” the Ibanez flagship line “j.custom” is crafted by bringing together the nation’s finest craftsmanship.

This classic model features a body crafted from African mahogany, known for its rich mid-to-low frequencies, generously topped with breathtakingly beautiful AAA flamed maple (4mm).
The ultra-thin “RG j.custom Super Wizard” neck, featuring a 5-piece maple/wenge construction that combines strength with a natural resonance, is finished with a “Velvetouch” finish that molds smoothly to the hand, just like an instrument that’s been played for years.
Furthermore, the fingerboard is crafted from rosewood, which delivers a resilient, mellow midrange, and is graced with the iconic “Tree of Life” inlay. It boasts uncompromising playability, featuring jumbo frets with the “j.custom fret edge treatment”—a spherical finish applied by hand by skilled artisans—and Luminlay phosphorescent side dots that ensure visibility even on a dark stage.

The pickups feature a classic DiMarzio HSH assembly (front: Air Norton, middle: True Velvet, rear: The Tone Zone) mounted directly onto the body. It effortlessly covers a wide range of tones, from warm, full-bodied lead tones to crisp clean tones and heavy modern high-gain sounds.
Featuring a “Lo-Pro Edge” tremolo bridge with a low-profile design that prevents interference even during aggressive picking or muting, high-precision Gotoh tuners and a strap lock, a tilted jack cavity to prevent cable disconnection, and a recessed control panel, this is the ultimate instrument, packed with meticulous functional beauty designed with professional performance in mind.
