The 2014 60th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster Heavy Relic is now in stock!
Commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Stratocaster’s debut, this model faithfully recreates the original first-year specifications and its iconic, commanding appearance.

In keeping with the original specifications, it features the rugged 1954 body shape—with shallow contouring on the top and back and substantial thickness along the sides—as well as a rounded headstock with chamfered edges. Furthermore, it faithfully reproduces every detail, including the round string guides used until around 1956.

It also recreates enthusiast-level details such as the short-skirt knobs, the backplate with a serial number engraving, and the perfectly circular string-through holes in the plate—features that fans will find irresistible.

The lightweight ash body is paired with a one-piece quartersawn maple neck, crafted from the thick, stable “1954 ‘U’ Shape” material characteristic of vintage models.

It is equipped with a “CS 1954 Strat Tall-D Alnico III” pickup. In addition to its low-output design, it incorporates vintage elements such as beveled pole pieces, cross-wound coils, and a polystyrene cover, delivering the delicate, three-dimensional tone characteristic of early Stratocasters.

Due to its heavy relic finish, the details of any later scratches are unclear, but no significant damage is visible.
The tuning pegs are slightly stiff, the pickguard is slightly warped, and the rear tone knob has been replaced.

Unfortunately, the certificate of authenticity is missing, but the neck is in excellent condition and the frets have ample height. It’s still in great “player’s condition” and ready for use.
