Road-tested by Eddie Van Halen in arenas around the world, the Wolfgang Special is a high-performance guitar with stunning style, a commanding sound, and the specifications to withstand high-speed playing.

The Wolfgang Special QM features a basswood body with an arched maple top, a graphite-rod reinforced bolt-on quarter-sawn baked maple neck, and a hand-crafted urethane back finish to match Eddie's stoic specifications. It is finished with a urethane back finish to match Eddie's stoic specifications.

For energetic riffs and technical lead playing, the 12- to 16-inch compound radius baked maple fingerboard features 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays.

A heel-mounted adjustment wheel allows for easy truss rod adjustment.

The pickups are two Custom EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbuckers mounted directly to the body, providing dynamic yet articulate voicings as well as rich sustain for strong chord playing and melodic lines.

It also features the EVH brand Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo and locking nut combination, which have earned the instrument's high credibility, and the EVH D-Tuna, which maintains accurate tuning even with extreme arm playing and instantly switches to drop-D tuning.

The volume knob with treble bleed circuit uses a 500K EVH Bourns low friction pot for smooth volume adjustment, while the tone knob uses a 250K EVH Bourns high friction pot to prevent the tone knob from malfunctioning while playing.

Condition.
There is a minor crack in the paint at the neck joint, but the guitar is in beautiful condition with relatively little signs of use. The neck, frets, truss rod, and all other playing-related conditions are in good condition.
The instrument has been fully adjusted and cleaned at our repair center when it arrived, so you can use it with no worries.
