The 2015 Gibson Custom Shop True Historic 1957 Les Paul Custom Ebony 2015, the first year of the "True Historic" series, of which only 200 were produced annually worldwide, is now in stock!

The new "True Historic" model was introduced in 2015, replacing the "Historic Collection" that had been produced as Gibson Custom Shop's flagship model.
The manufacturing process has been greatly revised and the detailed parts such as shape and parts have been scanned from vintage Les Pauls to produce a higher quality vintage reissue model.

This model is based on a 1957 Les Paul Custom with a mahogany body and neck and ebony fingerboard.
The neck shape is a thick C-shape, which is typical of this year's model, and the grip is easy to get a grip on.
The neck has rolled binding, which rounds off the corners of the binding, giving it a comfortable grip as if it has been played for a long time.
In previous Hiscolle models, only the neck joints were glued with nikawashi, but on the "True Historic" model, nikawashi is also used to glue the top and back of the body to bring it closer to vintage Les Paul guitars, thus taking advantage of the original sound.

The body color is a chic and royal "Ebony" color.
The gold hardware, which is characteristic of the top-of-the-line Les Paul Custom, gives it a luxurious look.

Two original "Custombucker" pickups are installed.
The vintage tone that reproduced Gibson's vintage pickups "PAF" has a tight bass, sticky midrange, and beautiful and extended treble, which is an attractive sound that can be used in the modern age.

There are some scuffs and scratches, buckle marks on the back of the body, and some parts are dull.
The top surface has no noticeable scratches, and there are no problems with the playing surface.

This is the first year of the "True Historic" 57 Les Paul Custom, which was produced in a limited edition of 200 per year!
