KIKUCHI GUITARS is a high-end brand established by Mr. Kikuchi, a luthier from the period when Sadowky was produced in Japan.
This time we have a 4-string model of the MV series, which is synonymous with Kikuchi. A passive model has recently been released, but this time we have an active model.

The body is made of chambered ash, with a maple neck and maple fingerboard. The total weight is 3.67 kg, which is indeed lightweight.
The preamp is a Kikuchi original and is a perfect match with the ash wood. You can enjoy a trebly and crisp "typical" sound. Controls are 1Vol, Selecter, 1Tone, Treble/Bass, and active/passive can be switched by pushing/pulling the tone knob, a combination that is permeated with Kikuchi-ism.

The neck is of excellent quality, currently straight with plenty of frets remaining. There is no problem with the operation of the truss rod. The tuning is one of the strongest as it claims to be OK to keep in its original condition.
The parts are lightly dulled, and there are some small abrasions scattered throughout the body, but there is not much sign of use.
