This newly arrived "JB-4A" is an exceptional model that combines the Jazz Bass style with an active preamp. It stands alongside the JB-4 Classic as one of Moon's most acclaimed signature series.

Materials include a 2-piece white ash body, maple neck, and ebony fingerboard.The finish appears to be polyester. It features Moon's original OXAIS-JB pickups and an Aguilar OBP-3 preamp. This preamp excels across the entire frequency range, delivering a punchy, well-defined sound with no weaknesses. As a well-known standard for onboard preamps, many are likely familiar with it.

The sound is quintessentially Moon, achieving a well-balanced, harmonious overall tone. It's a superb quality instrument that would satisfy professional use.
