The second most iconic model from MusicMan after the StingRay! A used 4-string Bongo has just arrived!

MusicMan has produced countless traditional and distinctive models that stand apart from jazz and Precision basses.
The model we’ve just received is the Bongo, featuring a design meticulously calculated based on ergonomics.

It features a basswood body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The iconic double-cutaway design is sure to catch your eye. The color is "Egyptian Smoke," which has already been discontinued. It has a subdued look that’s somewhere between gray and gold. The pickups are configured in a single-humbucker setup.
The controls include a Master Volume knob, a Pickup Balancer, and separate HI Mid/Low Mid and Treble/Bass controls, all arranged in a stacked configuration. It gives the impression of a highly versatile all-rounder. While it matches the StingRay in power, it allows for more nuanced sound shaping.

The bridge, strap pins, and nut have been replaced. There is some discoloration on the parts and faint scratches visible overall, but there are no scratches that significantly detract from the appearance.
Additionally, there are four holes drilled near the rear pickup, and the lower edge of the pickguard has been cut off. It appears that some sort of controller for operating effects was previously mounted on the body of the instrument.
The neck is currently in good condition. The truss rod functions normally. There is plenty of fret life remaining, so it can be considered in excellent condition.
