We have received a used ORVILLE BY GIBSON/HUMMINGBIRD in stock.

Key specifications include a spruce top, mahogany sides and back, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, a standard C-shape with a neck width of approximately 42.0 mm, and a 24.75-inch scale length.

This model is known for the warm mid-to-low frequencies characteristic of a mahogany body and its well-balanced sound, making it an extremely easy-to-play instrument for singing while playing or for chord work.

As for its condition, it shows significant dents, scratches, tarnish on the metal parts, clouding, and signs of aging and wear commensurate with its age.
There is damage in places on the body and neck binding, damage on the back of the neck, a chip on the back of the headstock, and scratches near the pickguard. Overall, the instrument has developed a rugged, weathered look, making it a great choice for those who appreciate a vintage-like aesthetic.

Additionally, there is warping visible on the top of the body. The neck shows twisting, with the bass string side (6th string side) exhibiting a tendency to bow outward.
The truss rod has approximately 180 degrees of adjustment remaining on the tightening side.
The saddle has been replaced.

Approximately 50% of the frets remain. The string action at the 12th fret is 3.0 mm on the 6th string side and 2.0 mm on the 1st string side.

Furthermore, regarding the electronics, we have confirmed that significant noise occurs during play, and the issue is particularly pronounced when adjusting the EQ.

A non-original hard case is included.

While the exterior shows significant signs of use, this instrument has been thoroughly played in, resulting in a mature tone and a rich, distinctive sound that is its greatest appeal.
