We have received a used YAMAHA FS-TA in stock.

The FS-TA is an acoustic guitar equipped with Yamaha’s proprietary “TransAcoustic” technology.

Its most notable feature is the ability to play with effects using only the guitar itself, without the need for an amplifier or speakers. Vibrations from the strings and other parts are converted into electrical signals, processed through effects, and transmitted to an “actuator” (vibration generator) built into the guitar; the effects sound is produced by causing the guitar body to vibrate.

The FS-TA series is a line of TransAcoustic guitars based on the “FS series,” which features a compact, deeply contoured body shape that fits comfortably against the player’s body while delivering a rich, powerful tone.

Key specifications include a solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany laminate sides and back, a nato neck, a rosewood fingerboard, a standard C-shaped neck with an actual nut width of approximately 43 mm, and a 634 mm (25-inch) scale length.

Regarding its condition, there are dents, scratches, and tarnish or rust on the metal parts, and it shows signs of aging and wear commensurate with its age. There is a slight bulge on the top below the bridge.

The neck is nearly straight and shows no signs of warping. String action at the 12th fret is 2.6 mm on the 6th string side and 2.0 mm on the 1st string side; the truss rod has been tested and can be adjusted up to 60 degrees in either direction. The frets have been leveled, so there are no significant irregularities, and approximately 80% of the original frets remain.

It comes with the original soft case.
