USED MARTIN / D-28 [03]

This particular guitar, manufactured in 2000, retains the powerful low end characteristic of the D-28 while delivering a clean, clear sound without becoming boomy.
I believe it is a well-balanced, easy-to-play guitar.

Although this is a matter of individual preference, this model was produced during a period when the fretboard and bridge—which had been changed to “striped ebony (MacArthur ebony)” in the mid-1990s—were returning to (literally) black ebony, making it a popular production era for that reason.
* There was also a period in the mid-to-late 2000s when the striped ebony specification was used.

In preparation for this sale, the following repairs and adjustments have been made:
○ The bridge had come loose; we realigned it and re-glued it
(There are traces on the surrounding finish), ○ Heel cap and the binding underneath had come loose—re-glued
○ Back brace detachment: Reattached and sanded

Considering current retail prices for new instruments and the used market, this guitar is relatively affordable.
Isn’t this a legendary “D-28” that’s both practical and built to last?
