A 1966 Fender Jazzmaster has just arrived!!

The Fender Jazzmaster was released in 1958 as a high-end model.
Although it was originally developed for jazz musicians, as its name suggests, its unique sound and distinctive design have led to its use in rock, alternative, grunge, shoegaze, and indie rock genres. Today, it is one of the most popular models and is loved by many guitarists.

It features a classic sunburst-finished alder body with a tortoiseshell-patterned pickguard.

The neck, marked “13JUN66B,” is a 1966 maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard.
It features specifications typical of that era, such as a bound neck and block position marks.

The neck shape is a slightly thin C-shape that gives the impression of becoming
, making it a comfortable neck that’s typical of that era.

It is equipped with two pickups with gray bobbins.
The front pickup is dated 7-11-66, and the rear pickup is dated 10-14-66; both were manufactured in 1966.
Additional foam padding has been added beneath the pickups.

The sound has the crisp clarity typical of a Jazzmaster and

The volume pot is 304-6610, and the tone pot is 304-6612; both are original parts manufactured in 1966.

Although the dates on the pots in the preset section were not visible, they are believed to be original.
The neck has been adjusted with shims.

The truss rod nut has been replaced, and there are signs that the binding at the top of the truss rod
shows signs of having been cut and re-glued.

The nut has been replaced, and the bridge has likely been swapped out for a domestic Mustang-type bridge.
The tuning pegs for the 1st, 3rd, and 4th strings, as well as the switch knob, have been replaced.

The frets are set low, and there are areas where the sound gets muffled when bending in the higher positions,
, but since they are the original frets, they have not been replaced.
