A 2000 Fender Custom Shop Eric Clapton Stratocaster in Mercedes Blue has arrived.

As is typical for Clapton models, it features an alder body, a soft V-shaped, slightly thinner maple neck, and a 22-fret maple fingerboard with a 9.5-inch radius.

Although this model originally came equipped with a “Lace Sensor Gold” pickup, it was later upgraded to the “Vintage Noiseless” pickup, which is a later specification.
It delivers a low-noise, clear sound with excellent separation.

The control section features the TBX tone control—a staple of Clapton models—along with a mid-boost function that delivers a powerful, fat lead tone, allowing for a wide range of tone control right at your fingertips.

The pickups and tremolo block have been replaced, and there are signs that the body joint has been modified.
Additionally, the wiring has been modified and the pots have been repaired.

While it shows signs of use—such as scratches, dents, and some discoloration on parts—it has been maintained and is in excellent playing condition.
