This model is part of the American Vintage series, which faithfully reproduces the 1964-spec Jazz Bass with exceptional craftsmanship.
Featuring an alder body and a rosewood fingerboard, it offers a sound that combines the warmth and clear projection unique to vintage instruments.

Manufactured in 2013, this model features an all-lacquer finish—a specification that has become increasingly rare in current models.
Not only the body but also the neck is finished in lacquer, making this a truly luxurious model that spared no expense or effort in its construction. The thin lacquer coating—unique to this finish—brings out the wood’s natural resonance, and you’ll enjoy a rich, deep aging effect the more you play it.

The American Vintage series of that era was committed to reproducing vintage specifications down to the finest details; these were highly refined models crafted with a level of expense that would be difficult to achieve in the same price range today. This is a highly recommended instrument that allows you to fully appreciate the slim neck feel and rich harmonics characteristic of 1960s Jazz Basses.

As is typical of a lacquer finish, the instrument shows overall signs of use, with signs of aging—such as paint scuffs, chips, dents, and discoloration of parts—visible throughout. There is a crack in the neck pocket, but it is limited to the painted surface only.
It has been serviced by our specialized department since arrival, and there are no issues with the truss rod or neck condition. This is a bass that will serve you well for years to come!!
