The “Nocturne” is a compact model from K.Yairi, crafted at Yairi Guitars in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture.

Despite its extremely compact size—with a total length of approximately 900 mm and a short scale length of 570 mm—it is a full-fledged acoustic guitar featuring an all-solid construction.

Key specifications include a solid spruce top, solid mahogany sides and back, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard and bridge.

Despite its compact body, it possesses the rich resonance characteristic of an all-solid guitar, allowing you to enjoy the warm midrange typical of mahogany sides and back, along with a lively response.

As for its condition, there are some dents, scratches, and scuffs from use. There is slight warping visible on the top.

The neck has a very slight forward bow, and the string action at the 12th fret is approximately 2.6 mm on the 6th string side and approximately 2.2 mm on the 1st string side.

The truss rod has been tested and confirmed to move up to 60 degrees in both directions, but there is limited room for future adjustment.
The frets are at a playable height, with approximately 60% of their original material remaining.
