1967 Epiphone Riviera E360TDC Cherry Red is now in stock!

The Riviera E360TD was introduced in 1962 as a competitor to the Gibson ES-335T.
Compared to the ES-335T with two humbucker pickups, the Riviera E360TD is equipped with two mini-humbuckers and a free-quencher tailpiece for a brighter and crisper sound that has been loved by many musicians, including Magic Sam, Otis Rush, and others, The guitar has been a favorite of a wide range of guitarists from blues to rock, including Magic Sam, Otis Rush, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robben Ford, Noel Gallagher, and many more.

This model was made in 1967 with a narrow neck. Like Gibson, the body is made of 16" wide laminated maple, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and 24 3/4" scale.

Hardware is shared with the Gibson, with Kluson button tuners, an ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles with retainers, and sombrero knobs.

The pickups are two sticker-numbered mini-humbuckers with a pot date of "1376618" 1966, which can be read in only one place. The bright sound with a full range is similar to that of the Stratocaster used by Chicago bluesmen at the time, and can be used in a variety of situations such as blues, rock, and jazz.

The frets have been replaced and are high enough, and we have confirmed that the truss rod is split 60 degrees on both the left and right sides, but the guitar has a strong sense of use, and there are repair marks on the wood of the switch, jack, screw holes repaired when the tremolo was installed, overall paint weather checks, and peeling paint.

1962年にGibson ES-335Tに対抗するモデルとして登場したRiviera E360TD。
ハムバッカーピックアップを2基搭載したES-335Tに対しミニハムバッカーを2基搭載し、FREEQUENCATERテールピースを採用しよりブライトでキレのあるサウンドは多くのミュージシャンに愛され、マジック・サムやオーティス・ラッシュ、スティーヴィー・レイ・ヴォーン、ロベン・フォード、更にはノエル・ギャラガー等ブルーズからロックまで幅広いジャンルのギタリストを虜にしてきました。

本機はナローネックの1967年製で、ボディにはGibson同様に16インチ幅のラミネート・メイプル、マホガニーネック、ローズウッド指板のウッドマテリアルに、24 3/4インチスケールを採用。

ハードウェアはギブソンと共有しており、Kluson製ボタンチューナーやリテイナー付きナイロンサドルのABR-1ブリッジ、ソンブレロノブを使用。

ピックアップにはステッカーナンバードのミニハムバッカーを2基搭載し、ポットデイトは1箇所のみ読むことができ「1376618」の1966年製を使用。レンジの纏まったブライトなサウンドは当時シカゴのブルーズマンたちが愛用したStratocasterにも近いサウンドキャラクターで、ブルーズ、ロック、ジャズ等様々なシーンでお使いいただけます。

フレットは交換され十分な高さがあり、トラスロッドも左右ともに60度前割ることを確認しておりますが、使用感の強い個体でスイッチ部の木部補修痕やジャック木部補修痕、トレモロを搭載した際のネジ穴補修、全体的な塗装のウェザーチェック、塗装剥げなどございます。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
