Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Tak Matsumoto 1955 Les Paul Standard made in 2024 is now in stock.

Based on the "Tak Matsumoto 1955 Les Paul Standard" released by Gibson Custom Shop in 2022, this guitar is part of Epiphone's premium "Inspired By Gibson Custom" series.

The model features a beautiful all-gold Antique Gold finish including the back of the neck, a maple top, a "Tak Matsumoto" custom neck profile that is a slightly thinner version of the 1959 neck, a Laurel fingerboard, and the same body/neck joint as the high-end models. The head is finished with a 1955 and 1958 maple top.

The head surface features a mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo positioned slightly lower, as on the 1955, and an "open book" Gibson-style headstock shape.

The bridge implements a Gibson Historic wraparound bridge with intonation adjustment screws, and the strap pins are equipped with a ProRockGear strap lock set.

For the electrical components, a Gibson Burstbucker PRO Alnico 5 pickup, the same as the Gibson Custom pickups, is used.
The guitar also features vintage taper CTS potentiometers, Grey Tiger capacitors, Switchcraft 3-way toggle switches, output jacks, and other '50s-style wiring.

The nickel parts are a little cloudy, but overall the instrument is in beautiful condition with little signs of use.
The frets are almost empty and in good playing condition.

Unfortunately, the part that attaches the lock pin to the strap side is missing.
Original brown case is included.

2024年製 Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Tak Matsumoto 1955 Les Paul Standardが入荷致しました。

2022年にギブソン・カスタムショップから発売された『Tak Matsumoto 1955 Les Paul Standard』を基に制作され、エピフォンのプレミアム・シリーズ "Inspired By Gibson Custom"から発表となりました。

モデルの特徴としては、ネック裏を含む美しいAntique Goldのオールゴールド・フィニッシュ、メイプルトップ、1959年製ネックをわずかに薄くした "Tak Matsumoto" カスタムネックプロファイル、ローレル指板、ハイエンドモデルと同様のボディ/ネック接合法であるディープ・ジョイントを採用しています。

ヘッド面には1955年製と同様に若干下側に配置されたマザーオブパール・エピフォンロゴがあしらわれ、ギブソンスタイルの「オープンブック」ヘッドストック・シェイプを採用。

ブリッジはイントネーション調整用スクリューを備えたギブソン・ヒストリック・ラップアラウンドブリッジを実装し、ストラップピンにはProRockGearストラップロックセットが装備。

電装部分は、ピックアップにギブソン・カスタム製と同じGibson Burstbucker PRO Alnico 5を採用。
さらにヴィンテージテーパーのCTS製ポテンショメーター、Grey Tigerコンデンサー、Switchcraft製の3ウェイ・トグルスイッチ、出力ジャック等と50年代スタイルの配線が施されています。

ニッケル・パーツに多少曇りが見受けられますが、全体的には使用感も少なく、綺麗なコンディションの個体です。
フレットも殆ど減っておらず、プレイ・コンディションも良好です。

残念ながら、ロックピンのストラップ側に装着するパーツが欠品しています。
オリジナル・ブラウンケースが付属いたします。
