Gibson Custom Shop Custom Crimson L-5CES Sunburst -2011-

The “L-5” is Gibson’s top-of-the-line series.
This model features numerous steps in the manufacturing process that are handcrafted one by one by skilled artisans, resulting in an extremely limited production run.
The top is made of solid, machined spruce.
The body sides and back are crafted from beautifully grained figured maple.
Body thickness: 8.5725 cm; Body width: 32.385 cm
Thanks to the size of this body, you can enjoy a rich, full-bodied sound.
The neck is a 5-piece construction of figured maple and walnut
The neck binding is luxurious, and the top fret features a beautifully decorated
The fingerboard is ebony with block inlays
The top fret also features intricate binding.
The headstock features a torch inlay, and the back of the headstock is designed with a stinger.

The hardware is gold-colored
The bridge features an ABR-1 on an ebony base
The tailpiece is stamped with “L-5.”

It has a wide dynamic range and a vintage-like sound, with solid response across the low, mid, and high frequencies.

The neck remains straight, so there are no issues even with a low string action setting.
The truss rod is adjustable on both sides.

Overall, there are some scratches, dents, and tarnish on the metal parts.
There is a crack in the finish near the F-hole on the 6th string side of the body.
The wood itself is not split.

The "L-5" is no longer in production and is rare on the market.
