We have received a used Killer Guitars KG-Exploder Musha '22 Vintage Sunburst Satin.

The KG-Exploder Musha '22 was created as the successor to Killer Guitars’ popular “KG-Exploder Prison” model. It features an ash body and boasts a rich, substantial look thanks to its vintage sunburst satin finish. The sunburst color, inspired by the Hickory Brown model, further accentuates the distinctive Exploder shape.

The neck is crafted from hard maple and features a comfortable, narrow U-shaped profile. The semi-gloss finish on the neck surface ensures a smooth playing experience. Additionally, it employs a unique tri-point joint secured at two points on the back of the body and one point beneath the front pickup. This design provides a larger contact area between the neck and body compared to a standard bolt-on construction, delivering excellent sustain and stability.

The guitar is equipped with Killer’s original “LQ-600” (front) and “LZ-610” (rear) pickups. Both emphasize the midrange more than previous models, delivering a powerful, clear sound. Furthermore, it features a direct switch that, when activated, enables direct output regardless of the volume setting, allowing for instant volume adjustments during live performances.

The bridge features a floating design utilizing a Floyd Rose Thousand system. It supports the tremolo arm and offers a wide range of expressive possibilities. The side position markers use phosphorescent material, ensuring excellent visibility even in dark stage environments.

The body shape is based on the “KG-Prime Akira Takasaki Signature 2022 Loudness 40th Anniversary Limited,” and its deep cutaway ensures exceptional playability in the higher frets. This makes it the perfect choice for guitarists seeking technical precision.

This model combines a powerful midrange, excellent playability, and the aggressive look unique to Killer. It makes a strong impression not only in hard rock and heavy metal but across a wide range of genres.

Overall, there are slight signs of wear from use, such as scuffs and dents, and some parts show signs of tarnish; however, the frets have good height with approximately 80% of their original material remaining, and we have confirmed that the truss rod rotates 60 degrees in both directions.
