The Phantom Guitarworks / Teardrop-6 with Matching Head Bound Neck (Black) has arrived.

The “VOX Teardrop” has been a favorite of many, including Brian Jones.
Even today, its styling remains fresh.

Often classified as a “bizarre guitar” due to its unique appearance, it continues to captivate many fans as a “legendary instrument” even after disappearing from the market.

With its excellent body balance, this “teardrop”-shaped guitar exudes a strong presence while maintaining a classic aesthetic. Imagine the sense of security you feel when cradling its smooth body shape, and picture yourself strumming it. It offers an overwhelming sense of originality that simply cannot be experienced with any other guitar.

It features a high-quality mahogany body, a maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard—all hallmarks of U.S. craftsmanship—and is finished with a lacquer coating. The original pickups, designed by Kent Armstrong, masterfully recreate the sound of that era.

It perfectly reproduces the “Phantom” script logo—a feature exclusive to the very earliest UK-made models—and pays meticulous attention to the restoration of every single part. While addressing the pitch issues that were a drawback of the original, it delivers a clear, raw sound that fully follows the UK tradition despite being made in the USA—a sound just as captivating as its appearance.

This is a model featuring the optional matching headstock and bound neck.
While there are some minor scratches on the exterior, it doesn’t show significant signs of wear.

The frets show almost no wear.
The neck is twisted, with the 6th-string side having a reverse bow and the 1st-string side having a slight positive bow; there is no room left to loosen the truss rod.

It comes with the original hard case and bridge cover.
