USED FENDER CUSTOM SHOP / Masayoshi Takanaka Stratocaster Closet Classic 3-Color Sunburst [04]

We have received the "Masayoshi Takanaka Stratocaster," a limited-edition model of 100 guitars produced by the Fender Custom Shop in 2006.

In developing this model, the balance between the neck and body was given the highest priority.
Carefully selected alder was used for the body, and in keeping with Mr. Takanaka’s desire to honor the image cherished by long-time fans, a three-color sunburst finish was chosen.

The finish is “Closet Classic,” though it features a lighter aging effect compared to other finishes of the same type.

The one-piece maple neck features the modern C-shape familiar from Jeff Beck’s Stratocasters, with a 9.5"R fingerboard radius and medium-jumbo frets.

At Mr. Takakou’s request, the guitar is equipped with Sparzel satin-button locking tuners and an LSR roller nut.
Additionally, the backplate has been designed with ample space to facilitate easy string changes.

A heel-cut joint is used to ensure playability in the higher positions.
Fans will also be delighted to see Mr. Takakou’s trademark palm tree and logo engraved on the joint plate.

It is equipped with a “Custom Shop 60s Single-Coil” pickup.
Controls consist of two knobs—Master Volume and Master Tone—and the bridge is a two-point synchronized tremolo system.

It appears the previous owner took great care of this guitar, as it is in excellent condition with virtually no signs of use, making it highly recommended not only for fans to play but also as a collector’s item.

It comes with the original black Torex case.
It also comes with a certificate of authenticity and a “Minus 1” CD.
