For this model, we’ve selected four top colors that are particularly popular in Japan. We’ve also incorporated the “Chocolate Brown” color—a defining feature of the early models—onto the sides and back of the body.

The AXIS boasts a distinctive design featuring a maple top and basswood back, along with an asymmetrical neck grip finished to the utmost smoothness.
With its ultra-three-dimensional 3D figured quilted maple top, basswood body, and the dazzling maple grain that runs the entire length of the neck—a feature rarely seen in recent years—this is a guitar that truly embodies the essence of MUSICMAN and will satisfy even the most devoted AXIS fans.
It features the AXIS’s signature compact body shape, known for its excellent playability, along with a distinctive asymmetrical neck grip that is thicker on the 6th string side.
