This is a released product by Kenji Hino, a.k.a. "JINO", who was born and raised in NYC, USA, with a father who is a world-renowned musician and a true child of groove.
This is a gem that has been used by many artists on tours and recordings.

This is one of the bass luthiers MAS HINO, who is currently active in New York City. He is the brother of Kenji Hino, who used to work at the famous Rudy's store in New York, and is a top-notch luthier whose clients include Clapton, Knopfler, Nile Rodgers, Victor Bailey, Richard Bona, and many more.
The back of the head is numbered #0004 and the joint plate is signed 0004 and MAS HINO's signature.

It has a good quality rosewood fingerboard with maple lines and a clear coating! The dot position is still there as it was when Mr. JINO used it, which is very helpful on stage.

The key point is the inclusion of a semi-parabola to add a middle component, which is essential for fretless instruments. The semi-para can be raised or lowered at any frequency, so that the low mid can be raised for a powerful humbucker-like sound, the high mid can be raised for a more impressive sound, or the wah can be half-opened for a more effective sound, the possibilities are endless!
I was also struck by the mint guard on the matching Lake Placid head, a look that I personally find very appealing.

当機は数々のアーティストのツアー及びレコーディングでで使用された逸品となります。

当機は、現在ニューヨークで活躍中のベースルシアー MAS HINO氏による1本。もはや説明不要でありますが、日野賢二氏の実兄で、かつてニューヨークの名店ルディーズに在籍し、クラプトン、ノップラー、ナイルロジャーズ、ビクター・ベイリー、リチャード・ボナ等そうそうたる名前が顧客として挙がる超一流ルシアーです。
ヘッド裏には＃0004と直筆のナンバリングが入れられ、ジョイントプレートには0004とMAS HINO 氏の署名が入れられています。

良質なローズウッド指板にメイプルのライン、そしてクリアのコーティングが施されており、比較的立ち上がりの明るい発音が魅力的であり、そことてもジャコっていて最高です！またステージなどで大変安心する蓄光素材のドットポジションがJINO氏使用時のまま残っております。

そしてポイントはフレットレスに欠かせないミドル成分を加えるためのセミパラが搭載されているところです。これは任意の周波数を狙って上げ下げでき、ローミッドを上げてハムバッカーのようにパワフルに、ハイミッドを上げて印象付けに、ワウの半開のようなサウンドなどでエフェクティブに、とキャラクターは無限大∞！
ルックスもレイクプラッシッドのマッチングヘッドにミントガードという私個人的のどストライクな見た目にヤラれました。

まさに兄弟の思い出と絆を感じる大変貴重な1本を体験して下さい。

Please Note

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.
