A 1995 000-42 Custom has arrived.

The "000" shape features a body smaller than a Dreadnought, making it easy to hold, and is characterized by its well-balanced sound.
This 000 features the "42" style, distinguished by its striking design, including ornate abalone purfling, snowflake inlays, and the Martin script logo.

The top is spruce, the back and sides are rosewood, the neck is mahogany, and the fingerboard and bridge are ebony.
Although the specific customization details of this instrument are unknown, we believe it to be one of the vintage 000-42 reissue custom models sold at the time.

It features an SQ (square rod) truss rod rather than a modern adjustable truss rod.
Overall, it is in condition appropriate for its age. While there are scratches and dents across the body, gaps caused by binding shrinkage, and some lifting of the finish, it is a relatively clean specimen.
There are signs of repair where the bridge was once detached, and adhesive residue is visible in some areas; however, the instrument will be sold as-is.

The neck is flat. It features a thin V-shape with a nut width of approximately 43mm, ensuring excellent playability. While it shows a slight tendency toward forward bow and twist when examined closely, it is in good condition.

This is a charming instrument featuring the luxurious design and lustrous tone characteristic of the 42 series.
