The PXO (Phil X Overdrive) was created as a tool for live and studio use.
The PXO is a pre/post selectable overdrive/boost that allows for variations in boost, EQ, and overdrive application.
The overdrive side has standard controls such as Volume/Gain/Overdrive and EQ, while the boost side has a separate Tilt EQ for simple EQ.
You can cascade it to pre or post situations and experiment from there.
The PXO has a lush, thick feel on the bottom end and a smooth top end that makes you want to dig deeper into the sound.
Phil has actually tried this overdrive pedal and says, "It's a drive that saves backline situations and plays well with others."
