A used 1951 Nocaster Journeyman Relic Nocaster Blonde has arrived!

This model faithfully recreates the legendary "Nocaster," a hallmark of early electric guitar history, while also offering modern playability.

A lightweight ash body with a thin lacquer finish brings out the wood's natural resonance, achieving a vintage-like, clear tone. Weighing a mere 3.19kg, it's lightweight, easy to handle, and comfortable for extended playing sessions.

The neck features a one-piece quarter-sawn maple, known for its resistance to warping and excellent response. Combining the substantial feel of a '52-style U-shape with a modern 9.5-inch fingerboard radius and high-performance 6105 frets, it balances vintage feel with comfortable playability.

It features hand-wound Broadcaster bridge and Nocaster neck pickups, crafted by skilled artisans. The bridge pickup delivers the characteristic Telecaster core—a thick, punchy tone with great bite—while the neck pickup offers a warm, rounded tone. This combination provides versatile expression across all genres.

Modern Greasebucket Wiring is employed, preventing muddiness when the tone is rolled off and allowing for clear sound shaping. Furthermore, the single-ply black pickguard and vintage-style hardware recreate the beauty and atmosphere of 1951. The Journeyman Relic finish imparts a natural, well-played look with exquisite aging that avoids excessive relic effects.

Overall, this model revives the "spirit of the 1951 Nocaster" for today, offering a compelling Custom Shop model that masterfully blends light weight, excellent playability, and vintage sound.

Given its Journeyman Relic specification, distinguishing between scratches and original finish is difficult, but this unit appears to maintain the condition it was in when new. The neck, frets, and other playability-related aspects are also in excellent condition.

1951 Nocaster Journeyman Relic Nocaster Blonde

Journeyman Relic
