We’ve just received a beautiful pre-owned Masterbuilt '1962 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic Sherwood (built in 2025) crafted by Greg Fessler!

Crafted by master luthier Greg Fessler, this guitar combines the aged tone and character of a vintage Strat with practical playability.

The body is crafted from carefully selected two-piece alder and finished in Sherwood Metallic, a highly popular custom color. The Journeyman Relic finish gives it a natural patina that looks as if it has been played for years, allowing you to fully enjoy the atmosphere of a vintage guitar even though it’s brand new.

The neck is crafted from quarter-sawn maple, and the fingerboard is made of AAA-grade rosewood. In addition to a flat-laminated fingerboard inspired by the early 1960s, it features the “59 Esquire ‘C’” neck profile with just the right thickness, ensuring a comfortable fit and excellent playability.Furthermore, the combination of a 9.5-inch radius and 6105 narrow-tall frets maintains a vintage-like appearance while providing comfort for bending and technical playing.

In terms of sound, it is equipped with a Hand-Wound ’60s Strat Pickup crafted by Josefina Campos, a Custom Shop winder renowned worldwide. From bell-like clean tones to punchy crunch and lustrous lead sounds, it delivers the rich expressiveness unique to the Stratocaster. Furthermore, when paired with Vintage Modified Wiring #2, you can enjoy a balanced, easy-to-handle sound across all positions.
