A 2007 Custom 22 equipped with Dragon II pickups has just arrived!
The Custom 22 is no longer available as a current model. Since Custom models equipped with a bar-tail-piece-style bridge are no longer sold, this is a rare configuration.

Custom 22
Compared to the Custom 24, the number of Custom 22s imported into Japan is extremely low, and it has a distinct character of its own. With two fewer frets than the flagship “Custom 24” model, differences in the body construction and pickup placement result in a richer, more musical sound—making it one of PRS’s classic models.

Body, Neck, and Fingerboard
The body features a classic combination of a flamed maple top, mahogany back, and mahogany neck. The fingerboard is made of Indian rosewood.

Neck Shape
The neck shape is “Wide Fat.” With its moderate thickness, it offers a comfortable grip without feeling unwieldy.

Pickups
The guitar comes equipped with a set of the classic “Dragon II” pickups. Featuring Alnico 4 magnets, they deliver a very versatile tone that retains the vintage feel of a McCarty while also offering a powerful, punchy sound.

Switch, etc.
The diverse sounds produced by the 5-way rotary switch are well-suited for a wide range of musical genres. In particular, the coil-tap sound in the mix position is unique to this 5-way rotary configuration.

PRS has long been loved by guitarists across various genres. You’re sure to experience maximum performance in a variety of settings, including live shows, sessions, and recording.

While there are some scratches and dents overall, and the metal parts show some tarnish, the instrument has been cleaned and fully adjusted at our repair center, so it plays well.
